“I think there’s something very chic about a wool coat,” McManus notes. “This winter, I’ve been able to wear my wool coats, not my puffers, because it hasn’t been so cold in New York. “I think there’s a quality to wool where it doesn’t need all this detailing,” McManus explains. “It’s such a beautiful material that I think it doesn’t need all the excess. It’s standalone.
